Disinfection of the eyelids' skin and eyelashes with an appropriate
product.
Instillation of a drop from an anesthetical eyelotion.
A speculum is placed upon the eye to hold it opened.

Phase of the cornea's cut out : the eye is still and the cornea is cut out. A thin part of the cornea or "corneal flap" is cut out. The thickness of this "corneal flap" is determined by the surgeon (130, 160 or 180 microns).

"Laser" phase : on the remained cornea, the laser does its work, it is computer-controlled by the surgeon based on each patient's criteria.

Then, a cleaning of the particles removed by the laser allows
the surgeon to put the corneal flap back, which is adherent without stitches.
An antibiotic eyedrop is put on the operated eye at the end of the procedure.
